About Bill Thoms
Bill Thoms is a businessman and former senior executive with more than 14 years experience in the innovative biotechnology field.
Following an undergraduate degree in mathematics chemistry and biology, from Queen's University, Mr. Thoms obtained law degrees from Dalhousie University and The London School of Economics. Reflecting his growing interest and expertise in business, he has since taken a number of business courses from Queen's University, York University, The Niagara Institute and McGill University.
Bill Thoms practiced law in private practice in Toronto before becoming a corporate executive in the natural resources sector for ten years.
In 1986, Bill Thoms joined Connaught Laboratories Limited, where he was Vice President and General Counsel. In 2000, Bill Thoms left Connaught and created his consulting practice, Nextus.
